Class Descriptions

Muscle Works and Total Body Conditioning

Intense strength and conditioning class. Designed to work all major muscle groups and increase strength, tone and flexibility. This class is suitable for all fitness levels.

Step
A high intensity, low impact aerobic workout.

Members who are new to exercise or who have never taken a step class should start with Impact or Muscle classes and take Step 101.

PowerMotion
High Intensity work, low impact movement. This class is designed to take advantage of simple, strong steps. They are combined with isometric contractions of arms and back for muscular balance. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Yoga
Practicing Yoga helps with flexibility, strength and balance. Our Yoga classes are taught in the Iyengar style. Poses are held with an emphasis on exploring the subtleties of each position. The Therapeutic/Beginning class is slower with an emphasis on alignment and relaxation. The Intermediate/Advanced class will help you tap into the power and strength yoga creates.

Sport Fit/Ski Fit
Whether you play a sport or just play, we will get you ready! This athletic class combines High Intensity Cardio, Sports Drills and Muscle Conditioning in a varying format. Ski Fit classes will add sport specific exercises for skiing to the mix. New exercisers should check in with the instructor before this class.

Core Fit
This class combines the basics of Pilates mat with Yoga. Stability balls are also used to add balance and agility training.

Group Cycle
Improve cardiovascular endurance and fitness with an indoor cycle class that simulates outdoor terrain. Reservations are required and are made in advance the day of the class.

Fundamental Pilates Mat
A Pilates-based mat workout. Each exercise requires control of the entire body and focuses on the quality of movement, correct alignment, and proper breathing. A good workout for those looking to help improve posture, flexibility, core strength, and awareness.
